Started in 1976, Satkosia Gorge is one of the minor sanctuaries of Orissa. The gorge is formed by the river Mahanadi, which cuts across the Eastern Ghats. On the south of the river are hills and on the north are the mountainous parts of Athamallik and Angul sub-divisions.

The Gopinath Temple is the most famous temple of Nayagarh

The Dakhinakali Temple is the most famous temple of Nayagarh & also Dakhinakali is the Shakta Deities of Nayagarh District .

Close to the Bhitar Kanika Sanctuary is another of Orissa`s special sanctuaries - the Gahirmatha Turtle Sanctuary. This stretch of beach is the breeding ground for the giant Olive Ridley Turtles, who travel all the way from the Pacific Ocean to mate and lay their eggs here

Dumuriput

Dumuriput- A village stands between Koraput and Sunabeda by the side of NH 43. The famous Sri Ram Temple situated in the locality is widely known for the highest kneeling Hanuman Statue in Orissa. Shree Ram Navami festival is popularly celebrated every year which attracts a large number of devotees.

Jain Statue

Jain Statue- A roadside village between Semiliguda and Nandapur remains of an old Jain monastery. The place invites the attention of the antiquarian for exploration.

Situated 16 kms away from Balasore is a divine beach resort called Chandipur. What is unique about the beach is that the sea water recedes about 5 kms during low tide and advances to the shore line again during high tide, each day.

The earliest Buddhist Complex dating back to the 1st century AD, Lalitgiri forms an important node of the Diamond Triangle ie Lalitgiri and Ratnagiri and Udayagiri. Well connected by excellent roads to Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, recent excavations here have brought to light significant archaeological material that upholds Lalitgiri as a great centre of Buddhist attraction.
