The Koilighugar

The Koilighugar water fall is situated 55 kilometer away from Jharsuguda in the Lakhanpur block near the village Kushmelbahal. A rivulet named ‘Ahiraj’ takes origin from the ‘Chhuikhanch’ forest and while flowing through its rocky belt falls from a height of 200 ft. creating the water fall of Koilighugar.

Dhabaleswar-Temple

The Dhabaleswar Temple of lord Shiva stands on an Island in the middle of the river Mahanadi at a distance of 5kms from Cuttack city and. It is believed that to save a devotee from disaster, Lord Shiva had turned a black bullock into white. On the full moon day of Kartika, lakhs of devotees gathered here to observed Bada Osha utsav.

Mukteswar temple

Mukteswar temple, one of the most prominent temples of Bhubaneswar, has been constructed in the style that is quite similar to the one used in the Kalinga School of Temple Architecture. Established in the year 950 AD, Mukteswar temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Its major highlights consist of the exquisite carvings that depict ascetics in different meditative pose. Mukteswar temple is also known as the ‘Gem of Orissa architecture’.
