Ratha Yatra, the Festival of The Chariots, originated thousands of years ago in Jagannatha Puri in Orissa on the North Eastern coast of India

On the auspicious day of Ratha Yatra, a festival is held in Puri. The festival attracts thousands of pilgrims from all parts of India. The most impressive part of the festival is the chariot procession. Three richly decorated chariots, resembling temple structures,are drawn through the streets of Puri.

Lord Jagannath, the symbol of universal love and brotherhood is worshipped in the Temple alongwith Balabhadra and Subhadra on the Ratnabedi.

The water fall at Pakari, at a distance of 35 Kms from Balliguda (120 Kms from Phulbani).

TERACOTTA

The famous work by the artisans of Ratanga, at distance of 35 Kms from Phulbani in Phiringia Block.

BISIPADA

The old HQ of undivided Phulbani district during British regime. The place is15 Kms from Phulbani. The picture is of famous Rama Lila ground.

Dungi

The Dungi , is the only archaeological site of Kandhamal of ELEVENTH CENTURY. The place is 5Kms from Tikabali.(40 kms from Phulbani).
